THE DOMESTIC CRUSADERS, 2013
US playwright Wajahat Ali’s acute play about a family of suburban American Muslims coping with the after-effects of 9/11. Directed by Jatinder Verma, Designed by Claudia Mayer.
Farrukh Dhondy’s post-colonial take on The Tempest – a one-person play about an English travelling troupe in India doomed to forever replay the story of Miranda, the only Indian actress in the troupe.
Staged in Temple Church in Inner Temple – Mahatma Gandhi’s alma mater – the play explored the genesis of the “Mahatma” in his London experiences. Written & Directed by Jatinder Verma. Design by Laura Butler
